why 1543 WAGYU® ?

On September 23, 1543, after a day of storms, a crowd woke up Nishimura Oribenojo, head of a village on the island of Tanegashima, in the extreme south of Japan. There was an apparition on the beach. Men with hairy faces, big noses, strange eyes and dirty, brown, curly hair. Francisco Zeimoto, António Peixoto and António da Mota, Portuguese navigators in the service of El-Rey D. João III, had just arrived in Japan, being the first Westerners to arrive in the Empire of the Rising Sun.
